Teacher: Brittany Woodford Calling all future fashion designers! If you love clothes, creativity, and bringing your ideas to life, this class is for you! In this hands-on Fashion Design course, students will explore the art of style while learning essential design techniques like sketching, fabric selection, pattern-making, and embellishment. Each week, students will work on fun and unique projects, from designing mood boards and creating original fashion sketches to experimenting with fabric draping and accessory-making. Throughout the class, students will: - Sketch their own fashion designs - Experiment with fabrics, textures, and colors - Learn about fashion trends and the design process - Showcase their creativity through fun styling challenges At the end of the session, students will get the chance to bring their designs to life and participate in a mini fashion showcase, so they can strut their stuff and show off their creations!
