About this event
We invite you to participate in this enrichment course where you will engage with Japanese language and culture. In this one-week, project-based course, students will explore Japanese language learning around themes such as greetings, introductions, emotions, and food. Students will learn about Japanese culture and geography to make a trip plan and discuss the traditions and values of Japan. Learning phrases for everyday life will bring practical knowledge and is a great opportunity for students interested in our Japanese Exchange Club where we build connections with our partner school in Japan and those who may want to take part in our travel program which occurs every two years. We welcome learners of all abilities in Grades 9-12.
