Description
Creek exploring isn’t just for kids! Leave no stone unturned as we investigate Abbott’s Creek to look for exciting wildlife and plants that calls this creek their home. We’ll figure out what are indicators for a healthy aquatic ecosystem and learn how to check water quality using easy, scientific tools. Come prepared for mucking about for this fun creek day! For 16yrs & up. Counts towards NCEE Criteria II or III
Join us at Green Hills for adventure in adult programming! Whether you are an outdoor buff wanting to hone your skills, or a dabbler that would just like to try something new, join the Blue Jay staff to work on some Serious Skills. Criteria II or III credit is available for participants in the NC EE Certification Program. Pre-registration is required for this program. Programs are held rain or shine. Please wear clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for the weather. Indoor alternative activities are substituted if weather is too inclement to be outside. If you find that you've had a change in plans and can no longer attend, please call to cancel so we may accommodate someone from the waiting list.
