This course focuses on a key component of restoration forestry- species succession. Due to the nature of forests on PEI, late successional, multi-aged forests all over the island need to be developed. In this course, participants will learn how a healthy forest becomes a resilient forest, less susceptible to natural hazards such as disease, and intense weather events.
