Sponge classes are immersion-based and designed to instill a love of language and culture while developing language skills. Our native-speaker teachers use a communicative approach, with lots of movement, games, music, props, and gestures that allow everyone to join in the fun. For the winter session, students will focus on learning common vocabulary related to family life. They will learn about immediate family members and common family activities. Students will also be able to identify the days of the week as well as the concept of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Young learners are primed for language learning; research shows that students are 70% more likely to gain fluency when they begin in elementary school or younger. Make language and culture a part of your child's life and watch them embrace a new world! If you would like to get a head start with the basics or want a refresher about basic Spanish vocabulary, check out the free Spanish intro course at spongeclasses.com. No prior language exposure is required. All students interested in learning Spanish are welcome!
