Intro to Long Range Precision Shooting will cover the following topics to get shooters shooting a 1 MOA group at 100 yards. 1, Rifle Setup 2. Optics (1st & 2nd focal plane) 2. Zeroing a Rifle 3. Angular Measurements 4. Trajectory & Ballistics 5. Collecting D.O.P.E. 6. Wind Adjustments Depending on the performance of the class, we may have time to stretch out to 200 yards. Students will bring all their own gear, eye & ear protection and 80 rounds of ammo. Only one gun. You can bring a backup gun if your primary gun fails but we will not have time to shoot more than one gun. Instructors – 1. Army Combat Veteran, Sherriff SWAT sniper, Maryland Police Training Commission (MPTC) Certified Firearms Instructor for all weapons, World Police and Fire Champion (Combat Pistol Individual and Scoped Rife (Sniper) Individual) and Canadian/American Police and Fire Champion (Combat Pistol Individual, Combat Pistol Team, Patrol Rifle (AR) Individual Scoped Rifle (Sniper) Individual) 2. Air Force Combat Veteran, Security Forces, Defender Challenge Rifle Bronze Medal (team), Defender Challenge Pistol Gold Medal (Team), Defender Challenge Pistol Top Gun (Individual), Air Force RAVEN, Joint Law Enforcement Training Center Instructor, SWAT Pointman then Commander
