Description
This class is for those who have taken my beginner class and would like to continue. We will continue reinforcing the basic skills while learning some new sewing techniques and make (3) projects together.This class is also for those who have some sewing experience and are confident in operating their sewing machine. Students need to be able to independently thread the machine, wind a bobbin, and change a stitch selections). Students who have not taken a sewing class with the instructor need to have made several projects prior to taking this class.
Projects: Quilted Journal Cover, Coin Purse and Patchwork Tote Bag.
No supplies needed. All supplies, tools, and machine are included.
Project kits are provided
Students may bring their own sewing machine if they have one. Sewing machine must be in proper working order if bringing your own.
Materials we will use:
- Sewing Machine, Including foot control, zipper presser foot, and manual.
- Fabric scissors
- Pins
- Pin cushion
- Fabric marker
- Seam ripper
- Seam gauge
- Sewing machine needles (Schmetz microtext needles, size 12)
