Description
Venture to Porcupine Hill and Cruise with Cose as she guides you through Ruby’s Trails at Wanda & Marty Murphy’s Christmas Tree Farm. Be prepared for some steep hill climbs and uneven terrain. You’ll be amazed at the many painted rocks along the way, inspired by baby Ruby. We’ll pass Twig’s Chalet on route to Ruby’s Spot. When we reach the top, you’ll learn the special history surrounding this area from Ruby’s grandfather. You’ll get to look around and enjoy the magnificent views of New Ross & beyond. We’ll continue along the trail to the Johnny Turner Memorial Bridge, Gentle Brook Rest Area, before turning back. Be prepared for a 3 km walk. Participants should wear appropriate footwear for trail walking, proper clothing and bring a snack, water and bug spray.
