Description
This Watercolor Pencil class offers a wonderful new art medium to learn and explore. Watercolor pencils are less messy, more versatile, easier to carry, and easier to learn than traditional watercolor paints. Artist in Residence, Anne Beckman believes everyone has a smidgeon of artist in them and she loves to draw it out. This 6-week class will help you start from scratch, and work your way up to a confident, watercolor pencil drawing artist poised for creative results. Anne has been teaching drawing and painting classes for over 30 years. She believes everyone has a spark of artistic talent which just needs to be drawn out. She wants to help you find yours. Anne's classes are informative, educational, and encouraging. No matter your age or ability, it's never too late to develop your creativity and have fun doing it.Class fee: $69, Additional $15 materials fee on 1st day of class. If you choose to bring your own supplies, please bring the following items: 1. Minimum 24 piece set of Watercolor Pencils (Crayola, Faber Castell, Prang, or other brand work well)2. Watercolor Paper (Any brand, but choose a heavier weight, cotton type)3. Three-Five small watercolor brushes: Minimum of 1 flat, 1 pointed round (fine tip), 1 oval wash (cat's tongue)
