Dates: Jun 8, 15 Instructor: Emma Redmond In this class, participants will learn to dress the loom, prepare weft materials out of scrap fabric, and weave their own small rag rug. Students will learn weaving basics while crafting a timeless + useful object. Perfect for beginning weavers and those interested in re-purposing materials. All materials provided, but students are welcome to bring their own fabrics/clothing/rags for weaving. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 2 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
