Description
Are you interested in learning the basics to fly fishing? Come out to the Boulder Reservoir for this free introductory class that will teach you some skills to get you out on the water. This class will cover an introduction to what fly fishing is, how to set up your rod and reel, the essential knots, an introduction to entomology and fly selection, and an on the water casting workshop. The class will run for 90 minutes. It is preferred if you can bring your own rod and reel, but we do have limited equipment if you do not have your own. A valid Colorado fishing license is required to attend the class.
Please meet at the Boulder Reservoir Main Building. The class will begin at 4:00pm. To allow for maximum instruction time please be ready by this time.
