Fall in love with yoga on a Stand-Up Paddleboard in our beautiful floating nature’s classroom! Experience the challenge of balancing on the moving water while strengthening you core and leg muscles. After a brief intro to your Yoga-specific paddle board, you will experience a dynamic and invigorating yoga class, using many basic yoga poses. Learn more at fluxpoweryoga.com
Wear: Please be prepared for any type of weather.... Examples: yoga leggings and top for comfortable weather; swimsuit or shorts for warm weather; long-sleeved layer or fleece for chilly weather; light shell if needed for rain. No cotton, if possible, instead wear wicking fabrics. You will not need a wetsuit.
Bring: Please bring a towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, change of clothes in case (weather dependent, bring what’s appropriate)
Expect: Be prepared for fun! Will you get wet? It's totally possible and yet maybe not. You can be as cautious or adventurous as you like. Either way you will see that it’s an amazing experience to practice yoga on the water!
Age: 18+ Anyone with body awareness and a desire to have fun can take a SUP Yoga Class with us. Even if you have never paddled before you will learn the basics. Yoga experience recommended but you don't have to have "good balance" the boards are very stable and provide a great challenge to your focus, ability to soften into the movement of the water, go with the FLOW and have fun!
Location: Lake Padden - Enter via the West entrance, we will meet in front of the restrooms by the water’s edge. 4882 Samish Way. Allow time to park as class will begin ON TIME and we cannot wait for latecomers.
Price Includes: professional instruction by certified SUP yoga instructor, board, paddle, and life vest rental. We cannot allow your personal board to be used due to our specific equipment setup needs.
