About this event
This session is geared towards adults between 25 and 65 years of age who live with physical disabilities or progressive physical challenges. Campers usually require assistance with daily living and they enjoy participating in the camp activities. On the first day, a community meeting is held where campers get to choose a selection of program activities for the week which are then placed into the schedule. The schedule is more relaxed to allow time for social interaction, relaxation, therapeutic time, and fun. Activities can include game show night, movie night, campfires, music circles, arts & crafts, dances and swimming. DAY 1 CAMP DROP OFF TIME: ON OR AFTER 3:00PM DAY 6 CAMP PICK UP TIME: Between 9:00AM - 11:00AM NOTE: Camp Tidnish does not provide a 1:1 staff-to-camper care ratio - if a camper requires constant support at home/school due to adverse behaviours or care/medical reasons then the camper would require a support person (Worker/family member) to be able to attend camp. If this is the case please select the support person option ($200) and the Camp Director will call to discuss this with you.
